The PA Server Monitor Free Edition comes with a built-in Web Page monitor. Each web page monitor can watch one or more specific pages on a website. You can check for:

positive cases, where alerts fire if certain text is missing
negative cases, where alerts fire if certain text is found
if the page has changed
page load time is too slow
SSL certificate expiration is close to expiring or expired

If a problem is found, you can:

Receive email alerts
Receive text messages or Apple push notifications
Restart IIS or start other programs
and more ...

The software will check the web page as frequently as you want.

Full alerting and reporting capabilities are included in the free edition of PA Server Monitor. Web page load times are recorded in a database and charted automatically.

Licensing

By default, the Free Edition watches a single server, but if you change it to per-monitor licensing, you can create a total of 10 monitors. That means you could watch 10 separate websites, and monitor multiple pages on each web site. For free.

To enable per-monitor licensing, set this registry value:


	HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\PAServerMonitor
		LicenseMode = 2

After making the above changes, restart the PA Server Monitor service, and the Console application.
