Free Event Log Monitor

The PA Server Monitor Free Edition comes with a built-in Event Log monitor. Each monitor can watch all of the Event Logs on a single Windows server. Full alerting and reporting capabilities are included.

Licensing

By default, the Free Edition monitors a single server, but if you change it to per-monitor licensing, you can create a total of 10 monitors. That means you could monitor the Event Logs on 10 separate servers. For free.

To enable per-monitor licensing, set this registry value:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\PAServerMonitor
LicenseMode = 2

After making the above changes, restart the PA Server Monitor service, and the Console application.
