Scheduling the automatic generation of reports is similar to creating ad hoc reports. To schedule an automatic report, go to the monitor that generates the data that the report will be based on. Go to the Actions that are configured for that report, and at the bottom of the dialog where you add actions, you'll see a list of all existing scheduled reports for that monitor. Scheduled reports get run at the end of each monitor run.
When you click the Add Report or Edit Report button, you will be shown the dialog below. Simply choose a report, a report/display type, a data set and fill in any parameters required by that report. When the monitor finishes running, the scheduled report will get created. You can optionally have the URL for the finished report emailed to you.
One difference between scheduled reports and ad hoc reports is scheduled reports always get created in the same location on the file system, and thus have the same URL from run to run. So once a scheduled report is generated, you can add the URL to your favorites list and go to it and see the most recent data that you're interested in at any time.
