PA Server Monitor Release Candidate
This page is where you can find our very latest release. Versions that make it to this page are considered solid and candidates for production release, but they haven't finished testing or received enough feedback yet. If we implement a feature or fix for you, we will typically send you to this page to try it out.
Current Release
Version 3.9.0.40 is currently in testing.
New features include:
* Fix for extremely rare crash where the monitoring service runs out of memory
* Scheduled reports and server maintenance can be 'daily' scheduled starting on the current day
* File Age monitor can watch sub-directories
* Removed unused print CSS
* Fix to Citrix monitor regression bug
* File & Directory Change monitor won't enter training for an hour after changes made
* Better support for the new Windows 2008-style event sources
* Fix for race in GetAllNamesForComputers
* Tabular uptime reports show true average uptime percent instead of just up/down
* Fix to memory leak if using SSL and many invalid SSL connections are made
* Additional logging for any failed directory scans
* Execute Script monitor will use any server-specific credentials when running
* Mail Monitor displays more diagnostic information in tests
* Selectable text in the report grids
* Fix for resource leak introduced in 3.9.0.13
* Supports paths even longer than was supported before (and long paths were supported before!)
* Supports changing the database driver
* Moved to OpenSSL 1.0.0a
* Silenced browser error dialogs

Updates / Upgrades
PA Server Monitor can be upgraded by simply installing the latest version over the top of your existing installation. Your settings and databases will be upgraded as needed.
You might need to reset the PA Server Monitor service's Run As account (from Settings or the Windows Services applet), but other than that no further configuration changes will be needed.
